Penrith City Park Amenities

$0.00

Penrith City Park is a newly created park in the heart of Penrith CBD, located south of the train station. The Park, designed by JMD Design, showcases a prominent pergola on its south side, housing thematic pocket gardens. The amenities building is seamlessly integrated into the pergola in the eastern pocket garden reducing its visual impact in the park.

The new amenities building features stamped bricks recycled from a heritage home in Penrith arranged in a basket weave pattern and laid on edge to display the stamp. The façade facing north to the park is clad with wide hardwood planks with a cut-out pattern for views to the park and natural ventilation. The building’s planted roof includes four skylights, each painted internally with different colours, creating a playful lighting effect within the building. The overall design emphasizes sustainability and integration with the pergola and park.
